Greetings!

I’m a writer, deep in the fall of life, seeking the irreverent, the sacred, and the comic in my world, which is frequently frenetic and admittedly self-absorbed.

As a non-fiction writer, I value a strong point of view and generally elect to write from a first person perspective though I can adopt a more impartial, journalistic voice when the situation calls for it.

Check out my two non-fiction books Between Two Women and The Right Sisters to learn more about my style and interests. My third book, Warren Borgquist, M.D.: Family Friend and Rural Medicine is a unique combination of biography, oral history, and memoir–a style and structure I discovered while writing Between Two Women.

The Twilightme blog, which accompanies this site, began in 2007 as a way to record my thoughts about family, books, travel, writing, faith, technology and transitioning from a professional life to retirement.

After retirement from teaching college English, I began writing for regional publications on lifestyle, entertainment, entrepreneurship, education, and relationships. Examples of this work can be found in my Portfolio.

I’m active on Facebook and Instagram. Please connect with me there if you wish. You can also send me a direct message through my Contact Page.
